Maison Louroche

Intro

About Maison Louroche – Between sea and craft.

The oysters distributed by Maison Louroche come exclusively from the São Jacinto lagoon.

They are purified, inspected and shipped live under refrigerated temperature to guarantee their integrity.

About Maison Louroche

Maison Louroche is the brainchild of Timothée Grillon and Fábio da Rocha , two friends united by a shared commitment to quality and a deep connection to the sea . From Aveiro , on the Portuguese coast , they select and distribute live oysters from the São Jacinto lagoon , a natural environment of exceptional richness . Working closely with certified oyster farmers , Timothée and Fábio ensure the availability of a reliable , sustainable , and traceable product for food service and distribution professionals throughout Europe .

Our role

We do not produce: we facilitate the flow of the product from its natural source

to distributors and restaurants.

The São Jacinto region

  • Protected and classified area since 1979.
  • Mixed freshwater/saltwater ecosystem.
  • Controlled water quality (class A).
  • Exceptional biodiversity.

These natural conditions give rise to balanced and uniform oysters.

For the Spanish market

  • Short distance: Aveiro–Madrid 8 a.m., Aveiro–Barcelona 4 p.m.
  • No intra-EU customs barriers.
  • Average delivery time: 24–36 hours door-to-door.
  • Communication in Spanish.

Portuguese oysters represent a complementary alternative to Galician oysters, with stable availability and a milder taste.

Vision

Promoting a transparent, sustainable, and European supply chain linking Portugal, Spain, and

France around a product of excellence: the São Jacinto oyster.

Maison Louroche: the Aveiro sea, shared with Europe.
